Introduction To Yoga

This course is a gentle introduction to the beginner techniques taught at Shanti Yoga Center. You should take this class if you have little yoga experience or simply want to know what all the raves are about.

This course is an optional prerequisite to the Open Yoga classes.

Introduction to Yoga is structured in four 1 1/4 hour modules. Upon completion of all 4 modules, you will be equipped with the knowledge and basic skills of hatha yoga needed to safely joint the regular open yoga classes at Shanti Yoga Center.

Wear loose clothing that allows freedom of movement.
